  • Summary

    Under minimal supervision and according to established policies and procedures, oversees services and facilities including space, furniture and emergency preparedness. Observes confidentiality of Firm matters.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage the Firm’s infrastructure, including acquisitions and maintenance of office equipment, furniture, and vendor relationships.
    • Responsible for the planning, purchase and maintenance of office equipment.
    • Manage space utilization, lease administration and other real estate related projects in consultation with oversight partner(s).
    • Lead and facilitate negotiations with vendors in regards to office planning, architects and others as necessary.
    • Administer the Firm’s disaster recovery and insures, in collaboration with Emergency Response team, that effective emergency response readiness is in place and that staff is apprised of emergency response procedures.
    • Develop and update processes for the Firm’s business continuity strategies.
    • Maintains relationships with travel agencies.
    • Oversee Firm relationship with car service companies.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

    • Must possess good interpersonal skills.
    • Familiarity with the real estate industry as it affects office space.
    • Thorough knowledge of disaster recovery/business continuity.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in real estate and risk management in a legal or professional services environment.

    Working Conditions

    Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
